How to Upload or Embed a Video in a Help Article
ProProfs Knowledge Base lets you easily embed videos from popular platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, and Blip.tv, or you can upload videos directly from your local drive.
Videos are great for walk-throughs, demos, presentations, and more. When adding a new page, you can specify it as a “video” page so users can quickly identify it in the table of contents (TOC) and the search results.
Here’s what an uploaded or embedded video will look like in an article:

How to Embed a Video
Step 1: Navigate to the YouTube video page and click Share
Step 2: Go to the embed option and copy the code
Alternatively, you can right-click on the video and select Copy Embed Code.
Step 3: Open the Knowledge Base Page Editor and place the “text cursor” at the appropriate location on the page.
Step 4: Click the Embed Media button.
Step 5: Paste the embed code in the “Embed Media Dialog” box and click OK. The video is added successfully.

You can double-click the video to open the properties.
How to Upload a Video
Step 1: Click the “Video Upload” button from the toolbar
Step 2: Go to the Upload tab in the dialog box and click Add a file
Step 3: The file you select to upload automatically gets added to the user media library for re-use. You can adjust the alignment and set custom width & height. Once done, click OK to add the video.
