How to Integrate LiveChat with ProProfs Knowledge Base


LiveChat enables the chat window on your Knowledge Base to assist your customers in getting their queries resolved instantly. LiveChat integration with ProProfs Knowledge can be set up easily by adding the Livechat Script to your help site page(s).


Here is how the LiveChat bubble appears on your help site after integrating LiveChat with ProProfs Knowledge Base:

  • Whenever a Chat operator receives a chat from a website visitor, all the necessary visitor data is automatically captured.

  • View the chat history using the chat transcripts.


How to Integrate LiveChat With ProProfs Knowledge Base


Step 1:  Log in to your LiveChat account and navigate to Settings.




Step 2: Under Channels, go to Websites and copy the LiveChat Script.




Step 3: Open a new tab in your browser, and log in to your ProProfs Knowledge Base account.


Step 4: Go to Settings >  Integrations.

Step 5: Navigate to Popular Apps and select Custom Script.




Step 6: Under Custom scripts, paste the Livechat script and click Save.




Step 7: Refresh your LiveChat account page to see the “INSTALLED” message in Settings.




NOTE: Chat will ONLY run for logged-out users. Logged-in users will not see the chat option.
