How to Cancel My Subscription?

Only the account owner can cancel a subscription. Go to:

Settings > My Account > Account Details > Cancel Account. 

and follow the on-screen prompts.

What Happens After I Cancel?

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current prepaid subscription period. You will continue to have access to your paid plan until then, and your subscription will not renew.
• Monthly example: If your subscription renews on September 5, and you cancel on August 8, you will continue to have paid access until September 5 and will not be charged for the next subscription period.
• Annual example: If you purchased an annual plan on January 15 and cancel on Dec 28, you will continue to have paid access until January 15 of the following year and will not be charged for the next annual period. Canceling mid-term does not refund the unused months.
• When your paid period ends, your account is closed and any team members lose access. We keep your private content for 30 days after your plan ends. After that, it may not be recoverable. Please export or back up any information you need before your paid subscription ends, using the export options in your product’s settings.

Can I reactivate after canceling?

Yes. Within 30 days after your paid plan ends, you can purchase a paid subscription again from your account at the then-current price, and your private content will be restored. After that period, your old content may not be recoverable.

Can I switch to a lower plan instead of canceling?

To request a move to a lower plan, contact billing@proprofs.com. The change takes effect at the end of your current prepaid subscription period, and you keep your current plan’s features until then. Plan changes do not result in a refund or credit for the current prepaid period.

Will I get a refund if I cancel?

ProProfs does not issue refunds as per its terms. Subscription payments, including renewals, are non-refundable. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current prepaid period. Annual plans remain active until the end of the full annual term. We do not provide refunds or credits for unused time, plan changes or downgrades, or accidental renewals. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically, so cancel before the renewal deadline to avoid the next charge. This does not affect any rights you have under applicable law.
